DESIGN YOUR OWN RING
Shape: Different diamond shapes have distinct features. Choose from popular round diamonds to the more unusual shapes. All our diamonds are certified by GIA.
Price: Adjust the slider or key in your price range to find a diamond that matches your budget.
Carat: The weight of a diamond is measured in carats and price increases with carat; therefore a 3 carat stone is more expensive than a 1 carat stone.
Cut: The cut of a diamond has the biggest effect on its overall appearance. Diamonds are graded on a sliding scale from Excellent to Fair, depending on their light reflecting quality.
Colour: Each stone is graded on a precise scale from ‘D’ (colourless - the rarest) to ‘Z’ (more yellow tones found). The less colour in a white diamond, the greater its value.
Clarity: : The internal purity of each stone is graded on a scale from FL (“flawless” – the clearest) to I3 (some visible imperfection). The higher the clarity, the greater the value.
ADVANCED CRITERIA
How does it work: Use our sliders and selectors to narrow the list of La Vivion’s diamonds shown below. To undo a selection, simply press the chosen filter button again. To learn more about each characteristic, hover your mouse over the ‘?’ or visit our education section. Looking for more criteria? Open our Advanced Search panel using the link on the left.

GIA:
Polish: Polish refers to the quality of the diamond’s surface condition as a result of the polishing process. Each stone is graded by the GIA from Excellent to Poor.
GIA:
Symmetry: Symmetry refers to the exactness of a diamond’s shape, the symmetrical arrangement and the placement of the facets. This is assessed by the GIA on a scale from Excellent to Poor.
Depth %: The depth percentage is the ratio of the diameter to the depth of the diamond.
Table %: The table percentage is the ratio of the “table” (top flat) facet width to the total width of the diamond.
Fluorescence: Colour and strength of colour when a diamond is viewed under UV light. Lower fluorescence is the most desirable - a high fluorescence can make some lower grading colours appear colourless.
